This anatomically correct bit sits lightly and evenly on tongue and bars and provides more room and freedom of movement for the tongue. When taking up the reins an even pressure is applied to the bars and tongue. The tongue and bars are not squeezed laterally. The use of bit guards prevents lip pinching. Thanks to its slightly curved shape, the comfort bar lies very quietly in the horse"s mouth. Mullen mouthpieces are considered to be particularly gentle and kind on the mouth. This enables horse and rider to communicate in a more gentler and easier way. The Comfort bit is ideal for young and sensitive horses. The shape and the weight of the sidepieces ensures a quiet, neutral position in the horse‘s mouth. This characteristic makes this bit ideally suited to young and inexperienced horses. They also receive optimum lateral support and guidance due to the shape of sidepiece. The large ring facilitates the good and quiet use of the reins.
